    • The building is oriented along the north-west southeast axis.
    • Window
    • Most windows are oriented towards the North-east direction.
    • Daylighting
    • Sections of the centre are designed in a way so that natural light enters inside the building, reducing the dependence on artificial lighting during working hours.

    • Artificial Lighting System
    • The lamps and luminaires used are energy efficient in nature, further reducing the lighting load.

    • Passive Cooling System
    • The south-west wall of the building comprises of a cavity wall cum solar chimney and has a kadappa stone façade.

      Ventilation is enhanced by the use of solar chimney and vents. Earth berms have been designed adjacent to the external walls to reduce heat ingress inside the building. Moreover, the coffer slab on the top of the building also reduces the amount of heat entering the building.
