Procedure
Step 1: Close all the windows and doors in the studio space or classroom for around 30 minutes.
Step 2: Note your thermal sensation and comfort level
Step 3: Open the doors and windows and observe the entry of fresh air and process your thermal comfort level again for the next 10 minutes.
Step 4: Initiate a discussion around the following:
- How did it feel with the gush of fresh air experienced?
- How does one feel in an Airconditioned space devoid of natural air movement when we sit and spend time for hours in commercial spaces, malls and office spaces?
- Discuss on how to design spaces with natural ventilation using passive design elements.
