Prerequisites
Understanding of Thermal Discomfort
Procedure
Step 1: Pose the following questions to students:
- Have you ever felt thermal discomfort while being inside a building? Have you experienced feeling better once you stepped outside a building?
- What was your last experience of ‘thermal discomfort’ like?
- What were the reasons for feeling thermal discomfort in those instances? Could something have been done to minimise the discomfort level in those buildings?
Step 2: Students share their experiences post reflection.
Step 3: Collectively reflect on the kind of sharings and try summarizing the findings.
