Procedure:
Step 1: Initiate a discussion in the class by posing the following question to the students:
- Do they use Evaporative air coolers or have they used it in their home?
- Why do we not see air coolers in urban homes in hot and dry climates when they clearly sufficed as thermal comfort providers prior to the advent of escalating air conditioning sales?
Step 2: Give a minute to students to think on the posed question.
Step 3: Students share their views on the posed questions.
