Procedure
Step 1: Initiate the discussion with the following question to students:
- What was your last experience of ‘thermal delight’ like?
Thermal Delight is understood as a positive experience, a feeling of wellbeing felt in any space or building. (The students can be asked to share such experiences preferably of a designed environment, so as to extract inferences related to the capacity of sustainably and well designed spaces have on our well being.)
- What kind of space (open, enclosed, semi-open, formal, informal, etc.) was it?
- What were the reasons for feeling thermal delight in those instances?
Step 2: Students share their experiences post reflecting on the discussion.
Step 3: List down the collective findings on the blackboard.
