Building Design

    • Orientation
    • Facades of the building face north, south, north-west and south-east
    • Window
    • High Performance Glass
    • Roof
    • Insulated
    • Daylighting
      • 75% of the work stations have daylight and external views
    • Artificial Lighting System
      • 100% desks equipped with LED lights, and 1850 meters of LED strips that are used for external lighting.
      • All energy efficient devices like VFDs, LED lights etc. are centrally controlled through IBMS (Integrated Building Management System).
    • Sensors/Controls
      • Daylight sensors, occupancy sensors, motion sensors are installed at each workstation, which reduces energy consumption and wastage. These ensure up to 20% savings on energy costs.
    • Active Cooling System
      • The first project in India to implement Water Cooled Variable VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) system manufactured by Diakin, Japan, for which the power consumption is as low as 0.5 k W/TR.
      • This system reduced the AC load by 40%, as compared to any other commercial building’s cooling energy used in this scale.
      • The short occupancy zones like lift lobbies, learning center lobbies, cafeteria, gymnasium etc are air conditioned by the indirect evaporative cooling system.
      • The HVAC system is designed to have 30% higher ventilation rates as compared to the ASHRAE standards.
      • Additionally, heat recovery/exchanger mechanisms are employed to minimize energy consumption.
    • Shading
      • 100% shading by external louvers on the first and second floor.

Building Performance

    • Renewables
      • The installed capacity of solar energy: 13.44 KW
      • The installed capacity of wind energy: 18 windmills of  4.75 kW each
      • 250000 kWh of electricity generated annually
