CEEW

The Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) is an independent, not-for-profit policy research institution. CEEW addresses pressing global challenges through an integrated and internationally focused approach. It does so through high quality research, partnerships with public and private institutions, and engagement with and outreach to the wider public. FairConditioning and CEEW engage on knowledge sharing activities to support mutually beneficial research and analysis efforts related to low-carbon cooling scenarios for India through HFC-phase down, sustainable cooling technology uptake, etc. The partnership also seeks to hold joint policy-advocacy workshops along with other think-tanks to distill learnings from FairConditioning’s field experiences in capacity building, education, eco-system building and pilot implementation and devise scalable and viable roadmaps for mainstreaming passive cooling and sustainable cooling technology uptake in key commercial sectors in India.

ISHRAE

Indian Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) today has more than 10,000 HVAC&R professionals and 3,000 students as members with 40 chapters and sub chapters across India. FairConditioning and ISHRAE have identified and commenced working on many synergistic areas of collaborations:

Post successful completion of the ACIP Engineering Student Certification, students and their colleges are given a one-year free license for using the ‘Smart Energy’ tool developed by ISHRAE.
FairConditioning will make the student certification program available through ISHRAE’s Student Chapter to students of all Mechanical Engineering students in the selected program cities.
FairConditioning and ISHRAE will co-create of a five-day program on Building Physics, Passive Cooling Strategies & Sustainable Cooling Technology Modeling for Practicing Engineers in conjunction with the ISHRAE Institute of Excellence. This training will be offered as part of professional development programs to ISHRAE members as part of their membership benefits.
ISHRAE will also embed the five-day program within the four-month Diploma offered by ISHRAE as a professional training program for fresh graduates and practicing HVAC engineers.
ISHRAE plays the role training content certifier, technical advisor for devising training material and an Industry outreach partner to enroll cluster consumers into the Technology Adoption Program through seminars and roadshows.
FairConditioning will work with ISHRAE to upgrade the ‘Smart Energy’ tool to include sustainable cooling technology modeling capability. ISHRAE will provide technical expertise from amongst its members to help improve sustainable cooling technology design algorithms.

CSTEP

Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP) is a Bengaluru based Think Tank that explores how newly emerging technologies can be used for social and economic development. It recommends options for public policy in the areas of energy and environment, infrastructure, and emergency and disaster management. CSTEP will play a vital role as an Industry outreach partner to enroll cluster consumers into the Technology Adoption Program through jointly hosted seminars and roadshows. CSTEP will also play the role of regional project-support partner in Chennai and Bangalore for providing program benefits: conducting feasibility studies and providing ecosystem support through networking with regional sustainable cooling technology manufacturers, trained architects and HVAC engineers etc. to Voluntary Technology Adopters.

Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations Of India (CREDAI) Consortium of organizations throughout India designed to further the cause of orderly real estate development – includes governing council, members, events. We are in talks with CREDAI to make the Technology Adoption Project’s offering available to their real estate developer members across the selected cities.

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) is a trade association of Indian Information Technology and Business Process Outsourcing industry. Established in 1988, NASSCOM is a non-profit organization.
